Quality Assurance in First Article Parts Production

For over a month, Tonasco Team Leads from all departments have been hard at work, engaging key department members in production process re-evaluation and improvement, as part of our regular KAIZEN practice.

This time, we have a special focus- to streamline First Article Inspection (FAI) parts production and testing procedures. The new key measures will further increase quality and delivery consistency, as well as reduce lead time for very complex First Article parts and subsequent series production. This enhanced procedures are crucial for our key clients in the semiconductor and optical sectors.

One of such new measures is to collaborate with our Technology Partner – Carl Zeiss Malaysia (ZEISS Group) in implementing robotization for our Coordinated Measuring Machines (CMM). We aim to bring Tonasco Smart Factory to a new height of precision and quality performance.
